Graphic Image Designer & Video Editor

Softz Touch Business Center, LLC is seeking a qualified part-time graphic image designer & video editor to join our business and help us expand our image creative & design abilities. The designer will be responsible for the following:
The primary responsibilities for this person will include:
1. Developing client communications and marketing materials such as business cards, flyers, postcards, invitation cards, brochures, banners, CD/DVD covers and inserts.
2. Design support may also be needed for internal business marketing materials & project.
3. Periodic review & update Softz Touch Business Center, LLC website
4. Delegate/supervise design & production of marketing materials to support staff
5. Execute customers project designs, working closely with our customers to develop their project graphics, review drafts, refine design elements, and deliver final products in print and digital formats.
6. Works independently in and in close collaboration with other Softz touch Employees in taking initial direction and completing projects from creative briefs to final production of projects.
7. Consult with clients on design, communications, and digital strategic needs and solutions.
8. Develop product timelines and manage work under strict deadlines
9. Prepare files and final product designs for print production, digital delivery or online postings.
Certification or equivalence in graphic designs, computer arts, or Adobe CS5 or CS6 or related studies
I. 3-6 years of professional graphic design experience with proficiency in web development software, such as HTML5, CSS, XHTML, WordPress, and JavaScript
II. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, and Encore)
III. 508 Compliant experience is a plus
IV. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint
V. Familiarity with email distribution systems, such as Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, and RightNow
VI. Strong oral and written communication skills
VII. Comprehensive understanding of interactivity, usability principles, and the web
VIII. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
IX. Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technology, and stay on top of the advertisement & marketing industry
X. Ability to teach and or delegate duties to junior staff members
XI. Ability to see others points of view and take constructive criticism or feedback
XII. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize competing demands
XIII. Ability to work as part of multi-disciplinary project teams and deliver high-quality work often under tight deadlines Preferred
XIV. Experience with video editing software, such as Adobe Premier, After Effects & Encore
XV. Solid understanding and knowledge of design, typography, and visual communications as it relates to brand development and brand extensions
XVI. Experience transforming data into easily digestible info-graphics
XVII. Familiarity with animation using Adobe Flash and Action-script
XVIII. Strong presentation skills and additional information for immediate consideration
