Industrial Engineer
Engineer - Industrial If you have at least 5 years of experience as an electro-technical designer, read on! What you will be doing: - Developing initial conceptual and layout drawings from specifications, sketches, and from project manager assignments - Preparing detailed electrical assembly drawings, subassembly drawings and bills of material on the computer using Autocad. Typical drawing sets include: Point-to-point wiring diagrams, Wiring schematics, Logic diagrams, One line diagrams, Ladder diagrams, Loop diagrams - Providing design solutions - Responsible for the development and documentation of concepts and designs of complex electro-mechanical products and packaging of radiation monitoring systems (component level through skids & panels) - Perform complex design assignments requiring common sense, logic, creativity, and applied electro-technical knowledge - Analyze designs and make recommendations for changes or modifications - Assist in coordinating project activities with Purchasing, Industrial Engineering, Technicians, Production, and Quality Control Departments - Investigate, modify and certify What you need: - Electrical Engineering Degree - Minimum 5 years of experience in electro-technical design: industrial/electrical design, instrumentation design, I&C, control circuit design, power distribution - Minimum 3 years in electro-techanical design using Autocad (release 14 and higher or Autocad LT) - Demonstrated skill in the conceptual design, layout and wiring design of electro-technical products and enclosures. - Skilled in the design and documentation of control panels & control enclosures, JB, including: - Point-to-point wiring diagrams - Wiring schematics - Logic diagrams - One line diagrams - Ladder diagrams - Loop diagrams - Skilled in specifying components such as enclosures, JB, wires/cables, terminals, wire trays, ground bus, motors, motor starters, AC/DC power supplies, transformers, switches, mechanical & solid state relays, interlocks, circuit breakers, fuses, ground fault interrupters, PLC, PID controllers, timers, counters, signal converters, connectors, control lights, conduits, heat tracing - Designer will work closely with Engineering team and must be able to absorb general instructions and properly and accurately execute plans - Thorough knowledge of ANSI / ISA electrical symbols and drafting standards. Acquaintance with ISO drafting standards is a plus - Familiar with electrical design conforming to the National Electric Code (NEC). - Familiar with I/O analog and digital signal transmission, EMI, and signal protection/grounding practices - Must have understanding of panel/enclosure wiring & grounding shop practices - Experienced in the creation of Bill of Material, ECN's, product structure - Ability to withstand detailed background investigation and reference checks What's in it for you: - Work on exciting projects - Join a leader in the industry - Competitive Pay & Benefits So, if you have at least at least 5 years of electro-technical design experience, Apply Now!
